Sam Bainbridge, Managing Director & Carpenter
HI, I’M SAM
I run Browson Design and Build; a bespoke kitchen, wardrobe and carpentry company that provides initial design recommendations and drawings through to high quality construction, build and installation.
I have over 18 years joinery experience and operate from my family’s working farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. As my business began to grow, I started converting outbuildings and sheds into a a fully equipped workshop, spray booth and showroom. All of our furniture is handmade here, by our small team of skilled carpenters.
The business is family-run, so we really take pride in every project we work on and care how it looks.
Our success is hugely down to positive recommendations. We understand the importance of having someone you like and trust to renovate your property. (Increasing your home’s market value and saleability is an added bonus too!)

Although Andy has been in the trade for over 26 years, he never forgets to tune in to a bit of PopMaster on his 10.30am break. Stick the kettle on…
Dan Bowler
Carpenter
Dan has been working alongside us since he was an apprentice. He likes to spend his free time catching carp with his biggest to date weighing 35lb.
Tarn Bainbridge
Painter
Tarn is a perfectionist when it comes to the paint finish. Tarn (like Sam; his brother) also lives on the farm where he likes to go for long walks with his labs.
Claire Bainbridge
Marketing
Claire is Sam’s wife. You’ll mainly find her in the office. Claire would like to do many things in her spare time but spends the majority of it driving to the various clubs or parties her two young children attend.

We’re based just outside of the small historic market town of Richmond in North Yorkshire.
